We prioritize your privacy by NOT collecting:

To improve app functionality and user experience, we collect only anonymous, aggregated usage data:

  • ✅ Note operations (create/edit/delete counts only, no content)
  • ✅ App installation and retention events
  • ✅ Device advertising ID (collected by TikTok and Facebook SDKs for analytics purposes)

This data is collected through Facebook Analytics SDK and TikTok App Events SDK. No personal information or note content is ever shared with these services.

4. Data Storage

4.1 Local Storage

  • All note contents are stored exclusively on your device
  • Notes are encrypted using AES-256 encryption algorithm
  • Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 algorithm with salt
  • No note content is transmitted to external servers
  • No note content is uploaded to cloud services

4.2 Cloud Backup

  • Cloud backup functionality is disabled by default
  • Your notes will NOT be backed up to Google Drive or other cloud services
  • Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Facebook Analytics SDK

This app integrates Facebook Analytics SDK to collect anonymous usage statistics. No personal information or note content is shared with Facebook. Collected data includes app launch events and anonymous usage patterns.

5.2 TikTok App Events SDK

This app integrates TikTok App Events SDK to collect anonymous usage statistics and support advertising analytics. Data collected includes app events (install, launch, note operation counts) and device advertising ID. No personal information or note content is shared with TikTok.

5.3 Data Shared with Third Parties

The following anonymous data may be shared with Facebook and TikTok:

  • Device advertising ID
  • App usage events (install, launch, note operation counts)

  • PBKDF2 password hashing with salt
  • No plain-text password storage
  • Disabled automatic backups to prevent data leakage
  • Secure local database with Room persistence library
  • All third-party SDK data transmissions are encrypted in transit

7. User Rights and Data Control

You have complete control over your data:

  • Create, edit, or delete notes at any time
  • Set individual passwords for each note
  • Change passwords as needed
  • Uninstall the app to permanently delete all local data
  • No account registration required
  • Opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Advertising)

8. Children's Privacy

Privacy Note Book is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. The anonymous analytics data collected does not include any personally identifiable information.

9. International Data Transfers

Note contents are stored locally on your device only and are never transmitted internationally. Anonymous analytics data (app events, device advertising ID) may be transferred to Facebook's and TikTok's servers, which may be located outside your country. These transfers are subject to the respective companies' privacy policies.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

  • We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
  • We will notify users through app updates
