We prioritize your privacy by NOT collecting:

3. Data We Collect
To improve app functionality and user experience, we collect only anonymous, aggregated usage data:
- ✅ App launch events (number of times the app is opened)
- ✅ Note operations (create/edit/delete counts only, no content)
- ✅ Crash logs (error reports without any personal content)
This anonymous data is collected through Facebook Analytics SDK and helps us understand how the app is used and where we can make improvements.
4. Data Storage
4.1 Local Storage
- All note contents are stored exclusively on your device
- Notes are encrypted using AES-256 encryption algorithm
- Passwords are hashed using PBKDF2 algorithm with salt
- No data is transmitted to external servers
- No data is uploaded to cloud services
4.2 Cloud Backup
- Cloud backup functionality is disabled by default
- Your notes will NOT be backed up to Google Drive or other cloud services
- Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all local data
5. Third-Party Services
5.1 Facebook Analytics SDK
This app integrates Facebook Analytics SDK solely for collecting anonymous usage statistics. No personal information or note content is shared with Facebook.

5.2 No Other Third-Party Services
We do not integrate any other third-party services, advertising networks, or tracking tools.
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- AES-256 encryption for all note contents
- PBKDF2 password hashing with salt
- No plain-text password storage
- Disabled automatic backups to prevent data leakage
- No internet permissions required to access notes
- Secure local database with Room persistence library
7. User Rights and Data Control
You have complete control over your data:
- Create, edit, or delete notes at any time
- Set individual passwords for each note
- Change or remove passwords as needed
- Uninstall the app to permanently delete all local data
- No account registration required
- No data portability needed (all data stays on your device)
8. Children's Privacy
Privacy Notebook is suitable for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. Since we don't collect personal information from any users, we are in compliance with children's privacy regulations including COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
9. International Data Transfers
Since all data is stored locally on your device and we don't transmit note contents to any servers, there are no international data transfers of your personal information or note contents.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes:

- We will notify users through app updates
